The Great Escape

As Blaze ran for her life, the only thing she could think of was the song The Great Escape by Boys Like Girls. She didn't know why, she loved that song, and it fit oddly to the situation. Right now, she was a girl, running for her life, with men with guns running behind her, all shooting after her. Why couldn't she just try and seduce them with her blond beauty like any other blond girl would do? She knew why: they'd shoot first and cry later. Damn, why did it have to be like that? But it was, and she couldn't stop it. She ran as fast as she could, the men advancing. She was not going to stay here. She dodged around a corner, and sound herself at a dead end. She scowled, and ran out fast, barely missing a bullet.

O.j.'s head shot up when he heard some comotion. He saw an Embrayge girl running and quickly joined in. He sprung into the air and takled her to the ground.He pinned her arms down and and leaned over her 'State your name" He comanded

Blaze snarled at him. She kicked up at him. "Blaze," she spat, turning into a white wolf, and biting deep into his shoulder.

O.J. grabed her neck and tore her off his shoulder. He brushed across his wound then pinned her too a wall.

Blaze turned human, and growled at him. "What are you playing at!?" she growled, "Let me go!" She kicked him in the pelvis, trying hard to break it.

O.J. mumbled and pushed her too the ground "What do you think you're doing here?" He snapped. Staring down at her

Blaze stared at him, obviously giving up her struggle. "Are you an idiot? I'm an Embrayage, and this is the jail-slash-execution place for those of my kind. What do you think I'm doing here other than trying to escape!?" she snarled. She managed her arms around, trying to push him off.

O.J. grabbed her by the shirt and glared. He pulled her up and grabbed her arm firmly, taking her towards the cell.

Blaze slapped him hard with her free hand, and then turned into a white cheetah. She pulled away, and ran, letting her speed flow.

O.J. touched his cheek slightly before running after her. He mumbled slightly to himself and sped up.

Blaze ran faster, but tripped on a wire. She stumbled to the ground face first, morphing back to human on impact. She layed there, paralyzed for the moment.

O.J. looked ahead, seeing her on the ground. He pinned her to the ground once more and growled eternally.

Blaze just glanced at him, and closed her eyes. "Then just kill me damn it!" she said quietly with anger behind it. "If my life if to be miserable forever then just kill me now!"

O.J. bit his lip and took out a knife. He aimed, and was about to stab her, then stopped. "I can't do this'" he said faintly.

Blaze flinched away into the floor. She opened her eyes to stared at him, dumb struck.

O.J. dropped the knife on the ground and stood up. He bit his lip and looked down at her.

Blaze sat up on her arms, wincing as a pain shot through her leg and flew through her spine. She heard shouts from down the hall and flinched again, just staring at the boy.

O.J. turned his head to the hall when he heard shouts, He glanced at her "Get out of here before they see you" He snapped

"If I could walk I would!" she snapped back, sitting up taller.

O.J. growled internally 'I'm trying to help you here, least you could do is have a better attitude" He mumbled and held out a hand to help her up.

Blaze stared at his out stretched hand, and glowered. Reluctantly, she took it knowing he was semi-right.

O.J. pulled her to her feet "By the way, I'm O.J." He introduced quickly and pointed to an elevator "C'mon" He said, and walked quickly towards it.

Blaze turned into a white wolf, and limped on three legs after him. hat made it slightly easier to walk. She nodded ehr large, white head in recognition.

O.J. stepped into the elevator silently and waited until she was in until he pressed the button to go to the parking lot. He bit his lip and leaned against the side.

Blaze sat at his feet, leaning aginst his legs, finding herself slightly cold. She shivered.
